Super-strong Axis® Lock for right- or left-handed use, a terrific and faithful everyday carry in two sizes: standard Griptilian® (blade length 8.8cm, weight 110g) and MiniGriptilian® (blade length 7.4cm, weight 79g).
Features CPM-S30V Premium Stainless Blade Steel, with an excellent balance of corrosion resistance, strength, and edge qualities.
Composition: Carbon 1.45%, Chromium 14.00%, Vanadium 4.00%, Molybdenum 2.00%. Vanadium carbides give the steel a very refined and homogenous grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness while remaining relatively easy to maintain an edge.
The drop point standard sized 551 Griptilian® featuring S30V is available in the satin plain blade (551-S30V), black plain blade (551BK-S30V), black part serrated blade (this model, 551SBK-S30V), black plain blade with olive drab handle (551BKOD-S30V), black plain blade with sand handle (551BKSN-S30V), and satin plain blade with orange handle (551-ORG-S30V). The drop point Griptililan is also available with 20CV blade steel and G10 handles (standard size Griptilian, Product 551-1, and Mini Griptilian, 556-1).
