You can get very small versions or fairly large ones. The series 'My First Opinel' is especially intended for children. The rounded tip minimizes the risk to injuries. Of course, the blade is normally ground, to make it fit for real use. My First Opinel-series is available in several cheerful colours.
This pocket knife is equipped with a simple but effective Virobloc-lock system. The blade is locked by the ring that can be pivoted around the hinge point. A classic in the true sense of the word.
